Welcome to COCO
The Corpus Cooperative at North-West University (COCO@NWU) is an initiative of the North-West University’s (NWU) Faculty of Humanities. The broad aim of the initiative is to advance corpus-based research, specifically in the digital humanities. More specifically, it also aims to make corpora developed at the NWU available to all researchers and students at NWU, their collaborators, or researchers outside NWU.
Corpora are divided into two collections:
COCO@NWU Regular- Most corpora are open to all academic researchers and students.
- A handful of corpora are available with advanced license requirements, and are only available on special request.
- To gain access to these corpora, contact us with your request, describing your project, and motivating why you need access to the particular corpus/corpora.
